Welcome to the Santa Barbara Rivian Club, a passionate community of electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts, adventurers, and trailblazers. Our mission is to bring together like-minded individuals who share a love for the great outdoors, sustainable transportation, and the innovative Rivian brand in the Santa Barbara area.

Creating memorable experiences

Our group is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our members through a variety of activities, from joint road trips, “coffee & cars” meetups, to educational workshops and other networking events. We believe in fostering a spirit of camaraderie, collaboration, and environmental stewardship while promoting the adoption of electric vehicles as a means to explore our beautiful natural surroundings.

We aim to come together to share our knowledge, experiences, and tips on maximizing the potential of Rivian vehicles. As a member, you’ll have access to exclusive events, resources, and a supportive network of fellow adventurers, all united by our collective passion for sustainable exploration.

Marc Baumann

Founder & President

Marc is a Digital Marketing Executive with a background in journalism and a life-long passion for cars, photography, movies and the great outdoors. He lives by the words of wisdom by one of his all-time favorite authors Jack Kerouac: “Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don’t be sorry.”

Leslie Patson

Vice President

Leslie is a Photo Producer and Casting Director with a deep love for design, fashion, literature, wining / dining and rescue cats. She shares the passion for exploring Santa Barbara with her husband Marc, and finds it the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy a sense of community.
